Creepy Carrot patch

The Project:
Celebrate Halloween by reading Creepy Carrots, making a creepy carrot garden out of paper or actual carrots. If you want a STEM tie-in, I ask students to draw a "creepy carrot catcher" device that will keep them safe from the creepy carrots, and then explain to me how it works. My favorite solution is the last picture, below. The little girl said that the rabbits and carrots should become friends instead.
